Hello!

Very long shot but I need to hire/ borrow a car trailer (big enough for a classic mini) tomorrow for a few hours.

I'm looking into hire companies now but if anyone has one and would be happy to lend it to me it would be muchly appreciated!

Many Thanks

I took a giant trailer down to Bodmin years ago - all was well on the way down, but, with the extra mass on board, it started snaking as we began to descend a long hill at the start of the return. I successfully fought it all the way down to the bottom, where the speed dropped enough to come out of the snake. My co-driver had remained totally silent through all the excitement (an ex-rally-driver, he was), but I was closer to crashing the thing than at any point down the hill when he suddenly took off his seat-belt and said "I won't be needing that any more - my arse is gripping the seat!".

It was a complete disaster! Checked the tow bar electrics day before - all fine.
Got to hire place (after getting lost and driving 30mins in wrong direction) hooked it up, everything worked apart from indicators!
No indicators no trailer! Opened up the wiring and looks like someone has hacked at it with a pair of scissors!
Couldn't get it in anywhere at short notice - so annoying!
Anyway I burst into tears and cried all the way home - just want my car back and an end to all this shit.
Getting electrics fixed and will try again next weekend!
Awful day!

:( so know how you feel.

Wish i could help but i sold my car trailer just before we moved as had nowhere to keep it. We would have had to drive it for you as its was big enough to carry a Range Rover

I'm getting really excited now!
Toying with the idea of dropping the engine out and rolling it over onto my spare mattress upside-down to stone chip the underside...
