There must be at least one other either standing or kneeling on the crapper to make the third set of feet curl in the way that they do.

Given the amount of space available i'd say it's more likely a foursome - one would like to think the 'invisible' fourth has a cushion on the toilet cover to protect their knees, a cushion that they have brought with them 'just in case' such an opportunity should arise.

Perhaps more likely they are squatting in a way that might seem at the time worthwhile, but will result in terrible cramp in the calfs in the short term, and be terribly detrimental to the knees in the longer term if they continue to indulge in such behaviour.

Touching in a way, one wonders how the encounter enfolded. Did the one only consent if the other was included?

Around Stafford town and its immediate environs you’ll frequently encounter the moniker ’SCRIP’. See if you can identify the two locations below. I’ve had a bit of fun with the second picture, it struck me as the kind of title / graphic you might find on a Stephen King cover.

Where is he/she/it* these days?

Good question. Around this time in previous years he has had his time off for good behaviour, but I'm not too sure it's lasted this long before. Must be coming towards the end of his sentence.
