The national wage increase will be most noticed by people who send their kids to nurseries or people who use the services of home carers.

The cost of using either of these services will rise by 50% in the next four years as we head to £9 per hour by 2020.

The retail sector will move to employing 16 to 21 year olds exclusively apart from management to get round it.

I buy stuff online rather than attempt to venture into town. I've bought about 10 or more games from Shogun Games yet only been into the shop three times, it's just easier to buy the games from their online store.

Overhead a conversation between a couple of elderly ladies in the charity shop. One of them said that it was official that Waitrose was coming to town. Her friend said she would not be shopping in there........

Stafford people keep hold of their money because they can't get in the sodding town to spend it because of the roadworks

Very limited choice in Stafford too. I have just been over to Ventura Park, Tamworth today for that very reason. Easy drive, only one set of road works and free parking.

Not sure that is relevant. The ugly morrisons on fesitval park hanley is mostly grey bar signage. In fact there is even some sky blue in there.
