Walton Tennis Club, Stafford is running a fun filled tennis event in the Market Square, Stafford on Saturday 18th August 2018.

With two mini tennis nets, racquets and soft balls provided, it’s a great chance to try your hand at tennis.

We take pride in being an all inclusive, friendly club which welcomes new or experienced players of all abilities, offering opportunities for social tennis, league tennis and family play.

We have four well maintained and recently refurbished floodlit hard courts, which enable us to play all year round.

With a great mix of senior playing members we run a number of social mix-ins throughout the week. These highly enjoyable sessions are a chance for members to meet other players and we guarantee newcomers a warm welcome.

For more competitive players, Walton Tennis Club run women’s and men’s teams in local leagues with free team coaching sessions through the year.

Our thriving Junior section has supervised mix-in sessions and priority access at set times throughout the week. We actively encourage the progression of our junior players, with many representing the club in league matches.

The club enjoys the benefit of a having a highly motivated and experienced club coach, Chris Proud, who runs coaching programmes for juniors and adults and is available for private individual or group sessions.

The licensed bar is open on mix-in nights and the club also hold social events in the well appointed clubhouse, which includes full changing room and shower facilities.

We are a progressive community club that strives to improve facilities for it’s members and we have an excellent outdoor social area, with table tennis table, picnic tables and benches, which adds an extra dimension to the atmosphere at the club.

FREE TENNIS ANYONE?

We offer free sessions every Sunday lunchtime, through our successful Rusty Racquets free coaching sessions, which take place every Sunday at 1pm. So if you’re new to tennis or are thinking of making a return, you’re more than welcome to come along to these sessions. Courts are also available at the same time for family play.
