No, but you'd have to go spike down and get a guard as spikes up = sit on sofa - sofa falls on floor - big bang - purpose of spikes circumvented and problem exacerbated.

Very well thanks mate, was quite an easy transition. We're hopefully getting some sofas from tek, and I have aquired a dining table and chairs. Going bed shopping next week although i have a single bed now so I can at least sleep alright.

All in all chuffed with the new pad
