Before I go out and buy new is a one looking to sell any gardening tools, greenhouse benches or in fact a greenhouse.

I’m starting from scratch so needing everything/anything to get my veg plot going. Netting, pond liner, compost bin, water butt, pots, forks, spades, shovels etc as well as a whole host of stuff I’ve not even though of.

I’m after recommendations for good gardening gloves as well.

Wilko's will be getting the gardening stuff back in, now that Christmas is over for a few weeks. A reasonable source of netting and water butts, etc.

A selection of gloves is often advisable, both for different functions, and to have a dry pair available...

The Katharine House warehouses will often have tools available, if you don't have an instant requirement.

Thanks @Gramaisc

I’m not adverse to buying new, just trying to be environmentally responsible first, I’ll definitely keep an eye on the charity shops though, I hadn’t though of that.

I’m debating a pond to attract frogs and keep the slugs at bay, I can pick up a small pond liner on Amazon for £20ish which seems like a fab idea until I remember I’m trying to cut down on my plastic consumerism. Any ideas on a more eco way to line a pond, we have sandy soil so it needs to be watertight and I realise my chances of picking a preloved one up are slim to none.
