Thursday was clear and warm all round the Ford. You may have been making the most of the September sun, although the strong winds suggest Autumn is just round the corner.
For a look at today's weather in your area, tune in tomorrrow.

Today = farking cold.

And I love it.
Yeah i'm quite enjoying it too. Once you get over the initial shell shock of leaving a nice warm house and going into the freezing morning, you realise that it's a really nice clear sunny day.

Days like this are mint. Be even better if I was wandering around the Lakes somewhere and not stuck in a little office writing SQL code.

I hate the hot weather btw.

This year has been ace because it seemed to go from warm to freezing in the space of about a week. None of the crap in the middle. Or has that just been up here in Leeds? Has it been pissing it down in Stafford?

Your right Noir, It was 20c last weekend. I was helping the old man clear his garage out and was in my t shirt enjoying the sun!
Then someone turned the winter switch and hey my car's windscreen is frozen this morning!

There is something to be said about the winter sunshine. It gives you that crisp alert spring in your step!

I still maintain that without the cold winter's this country wouldn't be as Great as it is :uk:

If we had all year round sunshine we'd be like the aussies. Cultureless Bum's with no engineering industry and the only thing we would be good at would be sport and drinking! Hold on that wouldn't be that bad really. :)

Wow, have you seen that tornado damage in London. Windy ain't the word, we should expect some severe weather over the next week by all accounts. Hold onto your hats!!!

It was helluva stormy down here by all accounts. Was watching it out the window about an hour before we had to leave the office for our Christmas do. There was like a mini tornado outside - you could see the rain swirling round, corkscrew stylee and everybody pegging it around trying in vain not to get wet.

I was scared!! It was dramatic.

The office i work in is in the eaves of an old tall building not far from the Tornado and out of my window to the right i could see lighting and grey clouds, debris blowing in the wind, and hail stones the size of ice cubes and out of my window to the left clear blue skies and sunshine. It was freaky! The roof was leaking everywhere, I was convinced it would collapse and i would be struck by lighting and no one would find me.

I had to ask the receptionist to come and sit with me just in case!

4000th post? Whatever, I'm nonchalant..
our roof was leaking yesterday. maintenance managed to solve the problem by waiting for the rain to stop.

I stayed in a seafront apartment in brighton at the weekend. It was on the 6th (top) floor of a fairly old building and completely exposed to the battering winds off the sea. We could actually feel the place moving, as well as the window frames and structural beams creaking all night! Not the best nights sleep i've ever had especially as i was expecting the roof to fly off and the windows to come through at any moment!! Was exciting though :)

Bbbrrrrrrrr . .. ...can't see where I'm driving to till I get there and I need some bloody De-icer, snapped a finger off trying to scrape my windows this morning. At least I'm not some unlucky git thinking it'd be clever to fly somewhere warm, and they're stranded in an airport. I'm not laughing honest.
