ASP is derided by many people for the usual "lolz micro$oft" reasons, but i've never heard anything bad said about PHP.. this forum runs on PHP, as do most of the websites you visit..dylanf said:

Never understood why people would rather pay for an ASP server than get a free php one, but there you go. Also, if you use php, there are a lot more open source programs you can steal. Just yesterday I set up a web proxy so a mate could bypass his works web filter

Cos his work have banned all the usual proxy sites already, so setting up temp ones is the only way to go at the min. Unless I can get vnc running through his works network anyway, then he could remote his own PC instead.

I've heard of Wardrivers that look for unprotected home networks and then spangle the router so the access point can't be used untill a hardware reset is done. This process is known amongst the Scanners as "Tony Blairing". Well I guess this only effects the people stupid enough to leave there router on the default settings.tek-monkey said:

Man I heard that the FBI have been working on a system that can activate the microphone in a mobile phone even if the mobile is switched off. They use it to evesdrop on the mafia. How cool would it be to have that job. reminds me of "Trois couleurs Rouge"
Would Iptunnel do the same job as VNC?

If a mobile is switched off, how can it receive signals? I wasn't aware phones had a WOL facility?
