    As the title would suggest, I'm gonna work out how this new thing works! Assisted by bacon and tea.

    Ah yes, I should have mentioned that the new Forum is only compatible with Bacon 1.1 and Tea 2.0!

    someone say bacon is this as in bacon sarnies an are they free, if so where do i get tickets for such an event too

    I didn't get any alerts to these replies Admin....do you have to subscribe to them or samink? Anyway....bacon and tea will not be provided, but if you bring some of either then I'll consider letting you have a custard cream.

    There's a 'Watch Thread' thing in the top-right corner...

    That might do it..

    Ah, I hadn't noticed that! Yes, it would seem that when creating Events there is no option to "Watch this thread" as there would be when creating a normal thread.

    The way round this would be to create your event as normal (as you have done), then go to the first post and click:

    Edit > More Options > tick Watch This Thread box at the bottom

    That should then notify you when anyone posts in the thread. :)

    some how a custard cream does not have the same ring as a bacon sarnie lol, I have had a little play now to be fair its just a case of getting a feel for the new layout
