    Any suggestion for places to go / things to see this weekend (9th/10th) Feb - in Stafford / easy public transport distance?

    Bit late but RAF Cosford museum is free and kept my nephew entertained for a few hours...has a train station nearby!

    Yeah - We've done Cosford a few times - it's such a great nearby resource. As it was filled our days with the usual, and much enjoyed park / playing at a friends / park / lunch in town combo.

    Stafford park, get some bird food from Tesco's to feed the ducks. Take a look around the bird Avery and have a play on the swings and slide etc whilst eating and ice cream or a slush puppy from the van.

    Winter is always a bit shit, things will start to pick up now.

    Easter Sunday @ the biggest and best Castle will be on again soon.
