What are we watching on TV?

TV is a facility that is missing from my current 'chalet', but, as I don't have one at home, I hadn't noticed until I came to post here.

My plan is to have nightly episodes from box sets, like proper telly.

I have the Beiderbecke Trilogy and The Prisoner lined up, plus The Big Lebowski, for when I feel like going to the pictures.

I also have a Mutant Monster Hanabi concert disc that I've never watched in one go and two 'new' films that I haven't seen this century - Electra Glide in Blue and Mel Brooks' History of the World, Part 1.

They should last me for a while, if I can find the time...

I used to have the L.P. of Electra Glide in Blue. It came with a poster about 3 foot wide and 18 inches tall of the cop with his Harley-Davidson and Monument Valley in the background. Shame I left it on the wall of my old office when I moved jobs.

Blimey - I have that - or another copy...

I can't remember where I got it - in fact, I would have said I didn't have it, or even know it existed, until I uncovered it when emergency-packing for my recent escape endeavour.

Have watched The Halcyon over Saturday, yesterday and the last two episodes today.
Some great characters, recommended.

I hoped it would not be me to be the one that says Tiger King is the new normal.

Are we allowed to talk about Netflix on here now? I distinctly remember being told off for mentioning it a while ago, as it wasn't propper TV?

I've took to watching the first TV series of 'Vikings' from Amazon Prime. I was sort of hooked by the opening titles music theme, which if you have a sound system with a fair thump of bass in it, makes you think of one of Glam's pile drivers.

I'm getting the impression the Vikings were thoroughly unpleasant fellows, nothing like Kirk Douglas or Tony Curtis whatsoever ...

I think Jodie Comer is going to become another Emilia Clarke. Just fits the role perfectly …. it's as if they were born for it.

And series 3 starts on Monday night. Fabulous stuff.
Buzzing.

Not sure I'm as on board with the 'release' format - this season will be one episode per week on iPlayer after airing on terrestrial.

So we will have to wait an entire week for the next one, like animals.

It is essentially an assault on my human rights.

Started watching the re-run of "Wolf Hall" last night as I'd missed it first time round. They showed the first two last night, so I watched the first and put the rest on record.
