What are we watching on TV?

We’ve just watched Behind Her Eyes, one of these psychological drama type of things.

We kept saying “Well this is a bit weird” but we were interested enough to find out what was going on.

Oh my goodness, massive massive twist at the end.

If you’re interested enough to watch then don’t be tempted to google anything about it in case you inadvertently come across any spoilers, it would totally ruin the ending.

No, it was me that recommended it!

I’m Spartacus.

We’re currently watching “ Your Honor”.
(American spelling!)

We’ve currently watched 9 episodes out of 10, we’ll watch the final episode tonight.
I definitely recommend this, we’ve both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Without giving too much away it’s about a very principled high court judge who finds himself in the dreadful position of lying to protect his son.
One lie leads to another and everything starts spiralling out of control.

It grips you from 5 minutes in.

Looking forward to Grace starting on Sunday.
The books are always a decent read.

I’ve read all of the Roy Grace books right from the beginning and to start with they were brilliant.
I have found though that with the last five or six I got the feeling that Peter James had lost interest and run out of ideas.
The books seemed to get longer and yet there was less action. I decided that the one I read a few months ago would be the last.

Having said that I will definitely watch Grace on TV, the early books were brilliant so I hope that they stay true to the script.
Although John Simm doesn’t match in any way how I thought Roy Grace would look.

Stage Three of the Attenborough Festival - Life in the Freezer - first episode down - I decided to put it off for a bit, by watching the UFO series, in the hope/expectation that things might have warmed up a bit first.

Last night was a rerun of Electra Glide in Blue - interesting, amongst other things, for having Peter Cetera (ex-Chicago) playing a character called Bob Zemco and another character, 'The Beard', being played by an actor called Bob Zemco.

Benidorm, from the beginning, not seen past the first series before and we were looking for something reasonably light hearted the other night.

Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

I absoloutly love this tiny bit of 'normality' every Saturday night, such a joy to watch, if just for the giggles & heartwarming stories.

After seeing some of the recommends above I watched the first episode of 'Your Honour.' I hadn't realised Brian Cranston was playing the lead role. He can't do much wrong for me after 'Breaking Bad', which I rate as some of the best television I've ever seen.

That first episode of 'Your Honour' is a real humdinger. I'm hooked !!!

Just watched Grace and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was slightly worried because it's always quite difficult once you've read the books, sometimes the TV series don't quite match up.

I thought this was really well done. It was also so long since I read this book that thankfully I couldn't remember the end.

Bit disappointed that the character of Norman Potting didn't make the cut.
Mind you, he was so un politically correct, that I don't think that today's woke brigade would be able to cope with his character.
