I think Million Dollar Baby is a true classic. He not only starred in in it, directed it .. but wrote the music soundtrack as well. (You will need a hanky to watch it.)
Ohh yes, that ones great too.. I'm just not a fan of westerns or war films (war films, in my opinion are so very very sad, loss of life for no reason.... Guatenteed to make me cry for hours.... But give me a gort Tatrentino film & I love it...... I coming back as a cross between Lucy Liu and Uma Therman

Upgrade. Futuristic film on channel 4. I have a bad habit of trying to figure out the ending to these fast moving winding plot thrillers. I thought I had it, it surprised me.

Professor T on ITV. Surreal drama where in a genius but weird criminologist gets involved in helping the police with murders. Tends to have dark endings ... and nice to see Frances De La Tour still up and running.

Have just watched 5 of these in a row. Quite enjoyed it. Looking at reviews, I sense there may not be another series, which is a shame.
Frances De La Tour is delightful as the total fruit loop mother, we don't see enough of her on the telly.

Undercover boss...

Every episode has moved me to tears... This Pickford's one mostly because it contained Geordies..... God I miss them, their language and their work ethic.... Gotta love a Geordie...

BBC4: An Inspector Calls. I'd say David Thewlis was perfectly cast as the mysterious, ghostly inspector. Cracking story from J.B. Priestley produced for film and TV many times over the years. Never loses its final punch.

'Criminal', Tommy Lee Jones and Kevin Costner..... Poor Ryan Reynolds died in the first 10 minutes... That's ruined the film for me...

The series 'Travellers' on Netflix. Someone recommended this to me. The premise is travellers from a post apocalyptic future download into present day bodies to try and change history. They're not stealing the bodies as such, but download into them just at the point of death, which they know is going to happen as to them, it's history. These travellers bring their advanced knowledge, and training with them.

Yeah, a bit far fetched, and of course, time travel paradoxes abound, but it really is quite well done.

Undercover Big Boss, this one is actually quite touching.... He does seem to genuinely care about his workers, their value, how they see him, and his business.

Onto season 7 of The X Files now. Phew! Haven't really noticed a dip in quality yet (season 6 had a few really great episodes) but I'm sure it is imminent.

Sex Education on Netflix - by far the funniest thing on TV in a long while (season 1 in particular)

Season 3 starts on 17th September..... I can't wait!

King Gary

I have no idea why I find this so funny, other than I am King Gary, everything pisses me off and annoys me!

Funniest thing on tonight's episode.... 'bushy biscuit'

Monsters of Man

*edit, quite a good film, although all the actors playing the Dr's were crap.... Long too.
