In the early '90s, I bought a Donald Swann CD in the Library sale - on first playing, I thought it was 50p down the drain, but it slowly became a favourite - around 2000, I lent it to a friend, a reliable sort, I knew I could have it back at any time, but then he died about ten years ago. I was just doing a bit of work for his widow, in her new 'supported living' accommodation and there the CD was, on the top of the box we were unpacking.

I knew I could rely on him...

This isn't the way you'll see it up there, but is instructive.

Take it with you - means, motive, and opportunity.

The most of these three weird sisters will always be motive.

Some may remember this song being used on the soundtrack of the film 'Highlander.' Actually an old Irish folk song concerning deforestation.

The best film and sound track of the 80's.

“I am Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod. I was born in 1518 in the village of Glenfinnan on the shores of Loch Shiel. And I am immortal.”

You'd think, through all those tedious years of immortality, he'd have learned not to start a sentence with 'and'.
