Wrath of a Mad God by Raymond E Feist . Rather good and as i've read a later trilogy does make some of it more understandable lol Now i've just got to get the previous books i've missed to help make sense of some of this series lol.

After finishing the above just before Christmas, I'm just about to start this, having just borrowed the eBook from the library.

I'm afraid I gave up with Vince Cable. I'd read the bit I'd wanted to read (his take on the Credit Crunch) and it was getting a bit tedious.

So I then took this out of the main library, and really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone with an interest in WW1 and military history. It had plenty of maps (always a good sign in books about battles and campaigns) but really could have done with some more as the ones provided weren't very clear (those on Wikipedia are pretty good for an overview of the campaigns).

I am reading Nevil Shute, The Rainbow and The Rose. I purchased an old bound book club set of his novels but haven't managed to read them all yet, every one I have read has been intriguing in a different way.

Still reading this (I'm a slow reader, and only read on the bus between Baswich and town). Just getting into the MMR chapter now - quite appropriate considering what's happening in South Wales and today's Independent front page.

Currently reading "Too Big to Fail (Inside the battle to save Wall Street)" having just finished "The Numbers Game (why corners should be taken short etc etc)". I might have to write to them about their conclusions about Darren Bent and the importance of the 'time of possession' statistic.

Just finished Dissolution by CJ Sansom which I thoroughly enjoyed. Must look for some more of the series.

I have just started The hundred year old man who climbed out of a window and disappeared which is entertaining me highly.

Next on the list is life after life by Kate Atkinson.
