A few weeks ago on a balmy evening we were walking through the village when we passed our friends house who were sitting outside on their bench enjoying a glass of wine.
They saw us go past, pointed to the wine and beckoned us forth.
Several bottles and 4 hours later we got home and stuck some pizzas in the oven and opened another bottle of wine.
While the pizza was cooking I checked my e mails, one was from the Grand Theatre in Wolverhamptom.
Something caught my eye and I enthusiastically bought 2 tickets which I then forgot about until they arrived in the post.
I had only gone and spent £68 on Jimmy Osmond tickets.
We decided to go, thought we might as well.
Anyway it was last night.
It was a tribute to Andy Williams.....would never have bought them sober but we had a fantastic time.
Top night out.
