Molly wanted a lot of chin scratches this weekend.
What a beautiful face!
We have 3 cats, all black, or black & white. They are currently hiding, as grandson (itty-bitty-minime) has just visited for tea.
Next doors cat is made of sturdier stuff & enjoyed chasing a football round the garden, and catching bubbles with itty-bitty-minime.
Nope, she's a very clean cat!
Queer old day weather wise. Set off toward Duckpool (about three miles North of Bude) in bright sunshine with the intention of walking up toward Steeple Point on the North side. This, as you can see, really is a Laurel and Hardy path. I figure the slope is in excess of 60 degrees, definitely a case of eyes down and choose your footfall carefully. The bottom of that slope is 100 foot down with a landing pad made of sharp sea lapped shale rock !!
When I got to the top I was greeted with a strong breeze and a whole battalion of incoming showers. Carried on up the coast path but the showers caught me, and I had to cut inland to get back to the car suffering a total dampment.
Latest pallet planter / trough type thingy.
Stuck a few, so far, spectacularly underwhelming fuschias in it. Hoping that a bit of extra space will encourage them on to greater things.
This weekend we went to Mid Wales with Kevin the Motor Home and stayed in the most glorious peaceful, immaculate campsite.
Set in a valley, just 55 pitches, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside.
Directly from the campsite, through a gate into lovely walks. Woodland walks, riverside walks, walks into town, walks through the meadow.
So far, I’m enjoying the van life!
All pictures just a minute from our pitch.
