Interesting. . .Whitehouse made History exciting, and it was the only subject I went on to get an A in at Eddies.

I think Mrs Whitehouse was my form tutor type thang as well.

Started my school life at at St leonards and then on to Chetwynd in the 80's.Def remember Mrs Whitehouse and Miss Kirkby. Any of you ex chetwynd souls in Scott house (mrs whitehouse was the BOSS!!!!!!!!!)
Miss kirkby took me for r.e.,always remember when it was halloween and she came into the classroom with a broomstick (we reckoned it was her car!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Then went to king eddies (left 1989). Always hated my geography teaceher Miss Dutton. Remember her anyone!

My form tutor ther was one Mr Terance Davies (4TD)!

Not the dreaded Mr Podmore. He had a right go at me one day for telling one of the lads to go forth and multiply for tryin to spoil my game on "Popeye", one of the arcade machines they used to have.

Scott house were THE BEST! :toot:

The woman who defined "horrible". She used to teach geography. We used to let her car tyres down for a laugh at lunchtime. Oh wat fun days.

It was always rumoured that she was "not into the opposite sex" if you catch my drift! :rolleyes:

Oh, Sue Dutton.She was a mentalist! Mind you, she was always easily distracted in class, so we'd always ask her totally outlandish questions and she would go off on one for half an hour or more. She had short grey hair and wacky Pat Butcher type ear rings if I remember right. The 'scissor sister' rumour was abound when I was at Eddys, too.

Mr Flynn gave me a proper flat narrow edge of a ruler rapp on knuckles
Mr Brown later convicted of kerb crawling
I believe his wife left him!
84/85 to 89 Riverway Middle School the year they merged with Kingston

89-91 Weston Road High School hated it (apart from seeing Mrs Lowry quite often leaning over desks ;)

Hmm, looks like you were possibly the year above me. I went to the same 3 schools, but only did 3 years at Riverway, and got moved to Weston a year early. Also got rapped by Flynn, didn't know about Mr Brown!

Morning all

Moved to Stafford and then went to Barnfields for Y6, then Walton. Currently in the 6th form at both Walton and Blessos. And my sister went out with Ed Cooke's brother.

New member here...I went King Eddy's left 88. Had Podmore as form tutor.

I remember Miss Dutton..had her for geography. Last i heard of her, she was a councillor up in Stoke.
I can recall a rumour that someone caught her paddling the pink canoe in the stationary cupboard
