What was going on this morning

Does anyone know what was going on this morning. Ambulances, police, doctors, they were coming from everywhere. But where were they going to. I hope it was nothing bad.

any location details? i saw an ambulance go past me just by the university today, heading out towards weston, but i don't know it turned up towards baswich or whatev's..

mind you, there are always ambulances and stuff going past here..

I was going toward town and an ambulance passed then a police car, I went into Asda's saw a paramedic car then another ambulance. Then I just kept on hearing sirens.

As I was travelling up the western road this morning around 0840 two fire engines passed me on the way into town followed by a police car also...

About 9.50 a Police Landrover was blocking the exit from the roundabout by the uni onto Western Road and redirecting all traffic up Beaconside Road. Also had an unmarked police car with the lights going whizz past when I was at the junction with common road a minute later.

Mmm don't know if it's coincidence or relevant but been informed early this week by some MOD staff that one of the lads was attacked just outside MOD Stafford whilst cycling into work. A hush- hush warning went round camp, 'keep your eye on your children' type thing, and that it's thought that some Al Qaeda movement is in the area.
Had noticed a casual police presence at the hospital all this week too.

Saw a blue bomb squad van today going down Beaconside towards M6/A34 roundabout.
