Good old Fanny. Brought to mind the famous quote from husband Johnnie Craddock " may all your doughnuts turn out like Fanny's".

OK, what of its cooked in the slow cooker? Was the carers stew really a casserole? It had white wine in, does that make a difference?

A casserole in the oven has the heat distribution all around whereas a stew on the stove top has the heat coming from the underneath only.

Therefore, something done in the slow cooker with all round heat distribution would be classed as a casserole (I think).

So is a dish cooked in a microwave a casserole even if it is labelled a stew on the microwave meal packaging?

A ping ping microwave meal isn’t worth the discussion (I don’t think).

    The spiders are horrific!

Curry yesterday and pasta for tea tonight!

Most likely pizza for my birthday tomorrow!

I'll be the size of a house by Christmas!
