What's for dinner/tea?

I’ve not attempted a risotto for a long time, I think my last one was a stodgy mess but tonight I tried .
An extra handful of Kale and a courgette that needed using, swapped the ham out for the Vivera veggie bacon and it was a hit,

We had this tonight and I did what you did and added extra kale. We did have ham though which made a healthy dish a bit unhealthy.
You’re right @Bob it was delicious.

That's reminded me we have a batch of meatballs in the freezer from a couple of weeks ago, may use them up over the weekend.
No need now, the kids have paid for a Cock takeaway for tonight and I believe Mrs T has other plans for tomorrow.

Minime is buying HERSELF a takeaway as its date night (it involves them (bf & 2 other friends) all being in their own homes, eating the same takeaway, and watching the same film on Netflix/prime/whatever whilst chatting over whatever device (x-box?) they all use.)

The carer has decided he's having a shop bought oven cooked Macceroni cheese as he was jealous of @proactive 's the other day.

I'm not a fan of macceroni cheese so I bought a oven cook Beef Bouginon with Gratain potatoes, and I have cauliflower cheese as a side. Just opened the beef & Gratain to find it might be enough to feed a squirrel but definatly not enough for me, and the side of cauliflower cheese is bigger than the main!

Thank goodness for crisps n dips.....

Enjoying a drop of red.
Well I've decided to put last night's laziness of getting chips from Weeping Cross behind me and be much more energetic tonight. So I will be driving across town later in order to pick up an EoO takeaway.

I've been overcome by a wave of CBA, with everything, not just cooking the last couple of days. Although I might still find the enthusiasm to pull the cork out of a bottle.

There's always screw cap if the pulling gets too much, or council pop. :xd::xd::xd:

We’ve had similar to @Glam

Roast beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower cheese, gravy.
Haven’t cooked a roast for ages but husband had been yearning for beef so as it’s Valentine’s Day I thought it would be nice.
Actually put a tablecloth on and laid the table nicely too.

Similar to @Glam & @Carole, we're having slow cooked lamb, roast potatoes, roasted carrot & sweede mash, tenderstem and Yorkshire puds with gravy and mint jelly/sauce.

It's still not ready as SOMEONE* overslept, and didn't put the lamb in the slow cooker till 11.30am.

*Not me, I was at work.
