Tomorrows is roast pork, roast spuds, carrots, cabbage, (for me) yorkies, mint and apple sauce, id have those with every meal if poss. And some nice gravy. I spoil that lad.
This was bloody lovely, or as some prefer to spell it on farcebook - loverley!
Did one for the youngest sister too, and managed get the last few sprouts from Sainsbugs for her.

Just had roast lamb dinner, cauliflower cheese, dauphinoir & roast taters, carrots, pays, parsnips and mint sauce from Greens at Gnosall. Delicious.
Nearly exactly what we're having later, only with red cabbage instead of parsnips, and made by the carer & smothered in red wine gravy.

I only realised at the last moment that it was Easter Sunday.

Luckily, the neighbours provided a clue and I soon spotted it.

We had a 60% off hello fresh voucher so it’s been lovely trying some new things, we’ve had second box with third expected this week and then it goes up to full price. Unfortunately it’s brill with the discount but not worth the full price IMHO so next one might. S the last one.

Easter tea was a Thai mushroom curry, really quick and easy after a busy day in the garden.

With our last 'local' curry a let down we decided to buy all the trimmings and settle for a jar sauce to satisfy our curry craving!

However we were blown away with Asda's Goan jar sauce! Really impressive and the best we've ever had from a supermarket!

100% recommend!!

Tonights burnt offering is fish n chips. The fish I have in the freezer, along with some nice salmon fishcakes, and I'll go and get a bag of chips from The Windmill, cos the finicky little git doesn't like home made ones! A couple of slices of bread & butter for me. Perfick.

A strange concoction that the carer has made from Posh dogs, wrapped in flat bread thats stuffed with onions, bacon & tomato chutney and baked in the oven, along with mini hash browns from the freezer.

It's not ready yet, wish me luck....
