Not my night to cook, but I did. (I'm buttering MrLittleme up to batch cook curry's), so tonight's tea....

Tamarind & Mango marinated pork fillet steaks
Delicately spiced potato wedges
Sautéed mushrooms
Cornish buttered & Sea salted juicy plump sweetcorn

Tiramisu cheesecake waiting for later. Nom.

OK, really it was - pork fillet steaks, with half a bottle to tesco tamarind & mango marinade poured over, then cooked in the oven at the same time as.... (minime had chicken gougons as she doesn't eat pork).
Frozen shop bought spiced potato wedges.
Mushrooms fried in stork margarine, then plonked in the bottom of the oven to keep warm.
2 x tins sweetcorn, boiled, drained then a knob of butter added (it was nice butter though).

It was still lovely.

Chilli tonight. Always have 2 meals worth when I make it fresh, so this was out of the freezer. The OH has made me buy proper rice from the world food aisle, and despite the cost it's certainly worth it.

Yesterday we were lazy,, and I mean REALLY lazy, we thought it would be a really good idea to buy one of those 'shove-it-in-the-oven' frozen meals from Iceland. Chinese chicken curry and chicken fried rice - how something can taste awful and have no taste at the same time us beyond me, NEVER AGAIN.

Today wasnt much better. I had found a recipe for beef and broccoli that I thought would be nice, MrLittleme prepped it before work and put it in the slow cooker for when we got home from work. We had it with noodles.... We might as well of poured a jar of soy sauce on the beef & broccoli... So not every home made meal is a success...

Pasta Americano tomorrow (my day cooking).

I am wondering if we eat to many 'big' meals.... @proactive seems to have lighter evening meals, so I'm wondering if everyone is the same? Do you have a large lunch? A smaller meal at night? Supper? We rarely eat lunch/dinner but always have a big evening meal, quite late too, 7/7.30pm, is everyone the same?
