Slow cooked Lamb, roasted carrots, roasted celeriac, tenderstem broccoli,, and roast potatoes.

I'm not falling for MrLittleme's usual trick - he always makes the homemade gravy - he usually brings me a small bowl of gravy with a slice of bread under the pretence of seeing if the gravy tastes nice..... I've worked out that he's just trying to fill me up before tea, so that he gets more lamb & roast potato's! :heyhey: :cops:

BBQ!

(Prepare to be disappointed...)

Skewers with sweet potato, red onion, tomato, and pepper charred nicely!

Added to a big salad of spinach, rocket, radish, beetroot, spring onions, and jalapenos!

Topped with big dollops of mashed avocado and lime!

I loved it but I accept the majority of you weren't expecting that followed by the word BBQ...

I just have to say, I love that @That-Crazy-Rat-Lady still likes my food posts, even though most contain meat and I know that @That-Crazy-Rat-Lady does not eat meat! I appreciate her meals too as we do try to eat at least 2 vegetarian or vegan meals a week, plus we have a newly aqquired vegan, that at some point we will need to feed, so all meal ideas are more than welcome.. :D

I love everyone's posts!

I see it as a challenge - how can I veganise that!?!

My love of food is endless! The husband eats meat so I appreciate everyone has different tastes and values!

Our vegan, thankfully, doesn't judge us either... But I don't want to dissapoint her when eventually I need to feed her, I dont want to serve the usual generic stuff, but give her something she will love... So far I know she likes Mali u and brown & green chocolate!

You can tell I'm cooking tonight....

I took the easy option, battered fish, oven chips, minted mushy peas and bread and butter.

We had some Tesco 'Finest' Tartare sauce as that's all they had, it was rediculously sweet - why would Tartare sauce be sweet? Very strange.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Nobody had the energy to cook tonight after totalling 350 miles on the road between us.

So Domino's was the order of the evening.

No wine was consumed!

A small(ish) Highland Park may be had before bedtime.
