That sounds amazing.
Not made by me.
Homemade Schnitzel, dauphinose potatoes, and cheesy peas.
I'm still impressed that I only put 2lb on over Lockdown, where the carer put on nearly 2 stone!
You weren't locked down, you still had go work.
The carer is the one that stayed at home, with the fridge, all day long........................
This sounds amazing!
I'll butcher (ha!) This and make it vegan!
Do you know how many times he opens the fridge everyday? I have no idea what he thinks will magically appear in there???
It's from this book
Had a conversation a while ago with @Glam & @Gramaisc, it turns out that my 2 favourite curry's, Pathia & Dhansak are Persian, & not Indian as I thought. Love Persian cooking.
Went to an antiques emporium this morning and found a farm shop on the way home!
We were going to have pasta, but it's just too hot, so instead we've had the carers "special sandwiches".
It's just grated mature cheddar, grated carrot & finely sliced onion, mixed together with salad cream, & dolloped on Tiger bread. Bit of pork pie & scotch egg on the side.... Gorgeous, and now I'm as full as anything!
BBQ tonight with strawberrys and cream to follow.
Wot no red wine???
Are you poorly??
Soz forgot. Tonight's guest red is
We will be opening another bottle of it shortly when we retire indoors.
Chicken, Leek & bacon pie tonight...
Rule no. 1 when eating the Chicken, Leek & Bacon pie.
Do not throw scalding hot cheese sause down your cleavage (or anywhere else). It's scalding hot, it sticks like no-ones business, and then you have to warm up your G&T by shoving that down there too.
Chicken korma and white rice. After my meat buying exploits in Lidl, we have enough chook feed the five thousand.
Tomorrows tea is Sweet n sour chicken. After that I will probably be sick of chicken for a while, so it's beans on toast.
Had some homemade minestrone soup that needed eating.
But didn't want soup...
So I mixed in some green lentils with a spoon of marmite, cooked it down, topped it off with mash - sheppard's pie!
Weird meal for a hot day but nothing went to waste so all's good!
The carer made homemade keema naan & scummy veg curry. ScRummy.
