I've heard the new Kings of Leon song 'Charmer' a few times now, and for a band whose tunes I usually like (Milk, Taper Jean Girl, the one before this one..) I think it's dreadful. What the hell are the screams about?! Not sure if it would be any better without the screaming, but I really don't like it.

Had to go and immediately listen to Discovery all the way through just to repair the damage. His older stuff is generally allreet but lately he seems to be taking the piss.

I normally like Kanye West, although he has made the odd stinker (that one with Twista off the first album was utter tosh), but I agree. Every time I hear 'Stronger' it grates on the nerves a little more. Not even that bothered about buying the new album - it's put me right off.

If bangers like 'Jesus Walks' and 'Golddigger' were enough to make me want to buy the first 2 albums, this monstrosity is enough to make me steer well clear of the 3rd one.
