Where has all the Guinness gone?

It started at The Sun, no Guinness.

Then The Holybush at Seighford, no Guinness

Now The Swan, no Guinness

Butlers Bell last night, no Guinness. Apparently they’d run out and no surprise really, there must be some kind of Stafford-wide shortage!

I had a Guinness in the Holly Bush at Salt a few days ago - the best that I've had round here for ages.

Nigerian Guinness is to be had from Tesco on occasion.

Should be an extra-prominent health warning on this stuff! If you are a novice I reccommend that you spend a few years practising on the regular bottled Guinness before you tackle this devils brew!

I have done an apprenticeship.

I love it.

The Sun never stocked it, but sells its own Titanic Stout.
I was in the Swan recently, and although there's no Guinness, I did sample the alternative and it was very nice (the name escapes me at the moment).
Spoons always has Guinness on, you must just have been unlucky.
Joxers sells a very good Guinness.

Nevertheless, widen your horizons! Don't be afraid to try other stouts and porters! You never know, you might prefer some of them. I'm actually quite happy there's finally some alternatives available. Stafford has been a Carling/John Smiths/Guinness zone for far too long. First the lager choice widened, then the ale choice and now finally the stouts and porters are catching up, hooray!

I had a local stout at the Dog and Doublet during the recent Pie Week event - very nice, too.
