Went in there many moons ago, 1 of the girls behind the counter was playing with her hair whilst waiting for the chips to cook, she had her back to the counter and was leaning back over the paper. She didn't like it when I asked her to remove the top couple of sheets of paper and wash her hands before I gave her my order. Walked out and went the Topshops chippy. Haven't been back since.

Does anyone here know if any of the Stafford chippies still do Turkey sticks?

For some reason that reminded me of my mum buying turkey balls when we were kids.

She didn't understand why we were crying with laughter when she asked a shop assistant if he had turkey balls :)

We always go to Highfields chippy, I've tried many in Stafford and I always end up back at Highfields, even though we have to pass a couple to get there.

Called in there the other day on the way home from work. Three customers in the shop weren't wearing masks so I took my money elsewhere

I would too if I saw that :urgh: We haven't had fish and chips since covid to be fair, a friend of ours contracted covid and the only place they had been was a fish and chip shop during lockdown, it just put us off I suppose.

It's nowhere near us, but it's great.

Northern lights is right by us but it's terrible, we liked the Windmill for a while, but it turned bad. At Queens you can order exactly what you want, and collection is usually within 10 - 15 minutes. The food is hot, incredibly tasty and always on point.

I'm not a pizza or chip shop lover, so believe me when I say they are brilliant, we've been using them for jyst over a year now, fantastic.... & I hope they see this!

Bit far from us really but might give them a try, just for the sake of a change.
