i suspect may will stay in , a no deal brexit will follow ( as predicted almost 2 years ago ).

only fun left to be had after today would be for labour to motion a vote of no confidence in the government itself.

i do like a happy ending :P

I assume you've begun to stockpile any medicine you use as you'll need it if it's a no deal.

The only way a no deal Brexit will happen is if both sides (the UK and EU) f**k up massively. So, you could well be right!!!

Of course, the numbers in Parliament just don't stack up for a no deal; however, they hardly stack up for anything else at the moment.

The only thing certain is that something has to give and, in financial terms, that will be us.

Apparently an outsider is in the running with a good CV. :heyhey:
"I have enthusiasm for the mission and a good relationship with people, even Boris. I can also be relied upon to make fundamental decisions even if at first they may seem a little extreme. I am always willing to open the doors (or not) to new ideas." :q:

Food for thought: if May is replaced, it’ll be with a very hard brexiteer, who literally has to do nothing to crash out with a no deal and profit from it (Mogg literally co-wrote a book on profiting from chaos).

We are probably better off if she sticks around, as party just because she’s less likely to permit a no deal scenario, and she’s also terribly unelectable so less likely the Tories will win the next GE
