No power at all here or for miles about, as far as I can see. Lights flickered for about an hour then...nothing.

It's going to be a long night with a terrified spaniel.

Always worth some headgear when investigating such events - especially in the dark - you won't see it coming and your inert form may not be noticed for a while....

I did told hubby I was going out to investigate , in the hope that if I didn't come back in sometime soon that he'd stop watching his film and investigate.....

Did worry about the neighbours partly blown out fence panel taking off through the air and aiming straight for me as I was picking the green bin back up.

Oh noo! Have you got much in there? Last time we had serious gales our trampoline came hurling accross the garden into the bricks of the house narrowly missing the patio window, pretty good job as I was rooted to the spot watching through said patio window
Choc-a-block with stuff , hopefully with it all weighing the shed down I might at least have some sort of shed left in the morning (or maybe all the stuff I wanted to get rid of, but hubby insists 'might come in useful sometime', might do a disappearing act after taking off across the estate..

Did any trees come down over the Crem earlier ? Hubby said he could see from the Weston Road that the traffic wasn't moving over there and could see blue flashing lights at the top of the hill

I better get my phone charged, we seem to be okay so far. I was in Church earlier though and at times it sounded like the roof was coming off.
