Highly recommended - my machines are whizzing along now - the old one was getting very sluggish.

But do you back up everything? I once had a customer kick off because I failed to back up his recycle bin, which he kept important stuff in! I'm not kidding, he was well annoyed, bloody muppet.
Docs, Pics, Music, Vids, Desktop, Downloads and yes - Recycle bin! (Well, if it looks like it contains stuff that could actually be important).

Ah, i'm overdue for this sort of thing.

Is Tuesday or Thursday, depending on which is less rainy, ok?

.... how are you getting along with Windows 10
It is much less 'scary' than i thought it would be - to the 'Ordinary Joe' that i am, it has a scariness factor of zero. On a scale from omgomgshitwhattheeverlovingshitisgoingon through meh to omgthisisthemostawesomestthingever, i'd put myself on mehandabit. Which is about as high praise as you're likely to wring from me.

One thing that elevates it above the mere meh is how fast the fecker boots up. I'm used to turning this thing on, putting the kettle on, waiting for the kettle to boil, making myself some coffee, then sitting back down as the machine gently wakes from its slumber. Now i turn the thing on and its good to go before i make it to the kitchen.
, and has the graphics issue re-occured yet?
Not yet, no, though i can sense a 'disturbance in the Force'. Time will tell - it's still not great for live streaming, which is a PITA, but things could be worse. :)

Could be a few things including your actual internet connection, but if you haven't already done so, try Google Chrome (which I've installed for you) as some systems stream better through that than Internet Explorer. You've also got a third browser - the new Microsoft Edge which is included with Windows 10. Have a play as one may handle things better than another.

It's definitely not that - i usually watch stuff live on the tablet, upon which i experience no problems, beyond the fact that it is small.

I always use Chrome (which i already had installed) - apart from that very small amount of time that BT Sport could only be viewed using Silverlight, which couldn't be added as an extension for Chrome so could only be viewed via IE. Outside of this nightmarish interlude, i always found that live-streaming was 'better' via Chrome than IE, but 'better' was relative - it was still pretty bad.

Actually, this evening i watched the Man Utd v. Liverpool game (via Chrome) and it was watchable - it wasn't absolutely stall-free but was much better than it has been before. TBF i'm not that bothered as i have the tablet as a back-up. Plus, of course, i don't actually need to watch football (or cycling), it's just a pleasurable addition to the riches that life affords.

Funny you should say that, because i tried Edge before the match started to see if it would be any better, but it didn't appear to be from what were admittedly very brief observations. The audio is fine but the pictures stalled a little too often in the time i gave it. May well give it another go at a later date to see how it performs.
