Hi

We're going to have baby rabbits ready in a few weeks time if anyone is interested? It's too early too tell much, but we have smoke pearls (like the Dad below), black, and orange, although these may change slightly as their coats come through. All have been bred from health happy vaccinated parents and will be well handled so will make great childrens pets. They are Mini Rex breed and have wonderful velvet like fur along with great personalities.

The boring bit!!
All homes will be strictly vetted, and if the bunnies are to be kept outside you will need a large hutch (5 foot +) and permanent run attachment. I also prefer them to go in pairs as rabbits are social creatures and it's cruel to keep just one unless you have loads of time to spend with them. These babies will also make great house rabbits if you prefer them indoors. Both parents can be seen as can the son from last years litter.

If you have any questions or if you are genuinely interested and able to provide a loving forever home please feel free to get in touch. £25 each or a pair for £40

Photo's of Mum and babies can be provided on request :)

Here's Dad:

Very handsome chap, looks very rabbity if you know what I mean. One of ours is half grey dutch and likewise looks rabbity, the other looks more doglike (and acts it too!).

@kyoto49 Ever thought of starting a petting service? We could all come round for a cuddle with them & then give them back!

I don't mind to be honest, the more they are handled the more comfortable they are around humans so the happier their lives :).

I doubt I'd get many back to be honest, I had to remind my neighbour to return the black one as I needed to go out and the baby needed to go back to Mum!!!!

If you have another litter in a couple of years let me know, my 6 year old is desperate for a pet rabbit but we've told her she can only have one when she can be responsible enough to take care of a pet, to be fair she does feed, water, play with and constantly pester to walk the dog who we've had since before she was born. She always says he's her daddy's dog not hers and she wants a pet of her own though I'm not convinced yet. I've said when she's 9 she can get one but it may be a little sooner than that if she can show continuous commitment to looking after the dog.

Sure I will. I'm not going to lie though, I think if you are genuinely hoping your daughter will have longevity on taking responsibility you might be waiting a while - it all depends on their personalities!! Over the road little girl had 2 babies of mine 2 years ago and has continued to be diligent at feeding them every single day despite being only 5 now. Obviously her Mum oversee's her, but the little girl has remained really good. My daughter goes through phases despite being a teenager now - the rabbits would definitely have died had she been left in charge!!! All I'm saying is that their continued commitment is sadly not guaranteed and it always falls to Mum to remain committed - but you already knew that :D

Here are today's pics, not sure why the babies look like they have such big ears - they really are normal size!!! 3 babies were outside enjoying the sun so missed the photo opportunity!!

You could become crazy rabbit lady? Although the more crude on the forum may associate that title with dogging up the chase.....

Mad Cat Woman
Sadly I think at least 1 of my cats would go for the kill if we adopted a wabbit. Can't think who you're calling crude? Now my MOT is done, I shall attempt to drag @proactive dogging up the chase with me. Unfortunately he passed on getting a caravan today. Hope he has a big car.
