Yodel - Do they always suck?

Yodel have failed to deliver a bouquet of flowers today for a 40th birthday present, they informed me of this at 6pm despite and email at 9am to say that delivery would be between 10am and 12pm

I'm not holding out much hope for the condition they will be received in if they do ever make it to the intended destination.

I have no idea how Yodel are still in business, my missing item mentioned in the above thread arrived the following week when it was resent with Hermes.

I sent flowers last week, once I realised it was yodel delivering I didn't hold out mush hope for them turning up in one piece, or at all.

But they delivered on time & in perfect condition. I think like Hermes, it depends on your driver. Our Hermes bloke is brilliant, we always get the same one and he goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect, he even calls back if we're not in. I can't praise him enough & always fill in the 'tell us how we did' thing.

During the last 12 months, i.e when there has always been someone in the house Yodel have been pretty good. Particularly when I lived in Victoria Terrace.
