I'm sure there was something on here about this kinda thing already....where Radio 1 play the whole of an album, without stops, without comment...without effort. Seems to me a major sell-out. This evening, however, i've had it on in the background whilst rearranging my house, and the album has been Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine, and i'd completely forgotten how frickin ace this album is. I will let them off.

funnily enough i reacted exactly the same way when i heard this on t'radio yesterday morning.. "just playing a whole album with no chat or 'dj' between tracks? what a con!" followed by "although, i haven't heard that in ages and forgot how good it is "

I think they did something similar last December. Can't find any threads though.
Last night's album was Dark Side of the Moon; I think they can be forgiven...
But I refuse to forgive them for not doing it in the middle of the day when I'm at work and thus being forced to listen to R1.
