Lidl sell better stuff than most other supermarkets! Lots of businesses shop there, especially pubs. Maybe you should be asking how a business that apparently buys all their stuff from Lidl attracts more customers than Bella Whatsit can? Businesses don't close because they are better, they close because they are worse. Or they fail to attract customers for another reason, but so far very few people have said they've had a good meal at Bella Bullshit.
I agree .. Lidl is great, the price does not reflect the quality .
I'm currently (!) addicted to their seedless white grapes.
And what exactly is wrong with LIDL (not lidal) ?
....
And yes, I used to KNOW (not no) SOMEONE (not sumone) who USED (not use) to work there (Bella Italia not Vievre)
Probably only a tiny tad pedantic, but the posters many posts on this thread and the Bella Pasta/Italia riled me...shouldn't of/have risen to itCripes! Steady on old girl. Isn't this this is a tad pedantic? After all, to quote a local Sage " nobody died".
P.s I think that you may have misspelled Vivere. Just saying, like. No offence intended.
Is I? Ooopsie I will consider myself well and truly dressed downAlso...
I have bit mine tongue until now, but you are a shocker for the could 'of', should 'of', would 'of' type thing. You should have used 'have', like what i have just done - or should that be 'like what i of just done'? No, no it shouldn't.
Also just saying, like. No offence intended.
Leaving all that aside, the key poins are that for quite a few people, apparently, the food and service were, er, shite!SHOCK NEWS ABOUT RESTAURANT CHAIN !
Apparently Bella Pasta does not serve handmade Italian cuisine and their head chef does not cycle in every day from Turin. You guys have really smashed my illusions. Please don't tell me there is no-one called Frankie or Benny working in a kitchen up the Lichfield Road or that the Maitre D' at McDonalds is not a real clown but someone with an orange wig and face paint.
Maybe that's where Little Chef went wrong. Would be worth the visit to see only see the top of the chefs hats through the serving hatchSHOCK NEWS ABOUT RESTAURANT CHAIN !

I totally disagree i have a teenage daughter and a son who is 25 and both are as dedicated to there jobs as any mature person, i think you will find working in the places you mentioned for minimum wage in a crap working conditions with no respect no pension is a big part of the problem and i would like to see any 40+ being happy supporting there family by working at Bell pasta, Mcdonald's or any other mass produced turkey farm.Instead of paying more mature people, who are usually more dedicated to their jobs and understand customer service better(1), to serve in 'faster food' restaurants such as Pizza Hut, Bella Whateveritsacalleda(2), Frankie & Benny's and McDonalds employ younger people who are only in it for the money(3).
(1) Generalisation of course but with maturity usually comes a better understanding of the importance of customer service.
(2) Stereotypical Italian-English speak which is supposed to be a joke not meant to offend, also I can't remember what it's actually called.
(3) We all work for the money of course but again, age usually brings with it a certain dedication to doing a good job at whatever employment you may be doing.

I presume this is what you mean?Anyone know what's being built behind the Tesco Express on Stone Rd? I'm sure when the Tescos was built that that part of the land could only accommodate either a vets or drs surgery...
The buildings appeared really quickly!
