Had a quick look and couldn't find a thing for this place. Has anyone had any experience of taking their car in? Booked mine in for Monday morning, just wondering if they come recommended?

Never heard of them, but always useful to know of a decent car electricals expert. Let us know if they are any good Glam.

What are you having done BTW?

They have fitted an alarm for me in the past and also a couple of Bluetooth car phone kits. This was when they were still based on Marston Road, so a few years ago. Did a good job every time, so can't complain.

Edited to say they did some front and rear parking sensors on a friends car about a year ago and he was very pleased as I recall.

I think you probably mean Secure a Car...
That's why I couldn't find them! Thank you xx

Ooooh int easy and long winded but here goes.
There is a control bit on the drivers door that operates both the drivers and passengers window. It moves about a bit, so, as a result the drivers window wont open. There's a light up bit on it, which means it's working. It doesn't light up for the drivers window. I found out it wasn't working on Boxing Day. Drove home from my sisters in Wetwood with a blizzard blowing outside, and the window wouldn't go up. An hour it took to drive home. I was cold n wet, pissed off and ready scrap the car. Precious 1 saved the day by wiggling the switch about.
And, the starter motor keeps jamming.

The car has been with Secure a car all day, the fuel pump is more than poorly sick, it's dead. They're performing open heart surgery on it tomorrow, hopefully.
They have fixed the window problem, and in total the bill will be just over £400. Made me realise how much I loved the thing when the nice gentleman on the phone was telling me how ill it was.

Assuming yours is a 1.4 Puma then the average price of a fuel pump is around £100 + vat, then they've got to fit it, which involves dropping the fuel tank, amongst other time consuming things then whatever they did for fixing the window. Considering they've got to make a living I reckon that's a fairly reasonable price.

It's a 1.7 Puma love, I'm not complaining about owt. I just want Percy back! You're talking £54 an hour labour + parts etc.
I only paid £400 for him, but he's worth every penny and more. Shame the visibility out the back window's shite. Might as well be driving a van at times....x
