Yeah, but you still love me! <3Yeah, but you're not normal!
Don't push it! xxYeah, but you still love me! <3
I'll say that it's on hold for now. It's still something I'd love to do, but due to family matters it wouldn't be the best thing to go into right now and as a priority I'd much prefer to set something up for Mrs WMR to have a bit of involvement in (daytimes etc.). The wedding business would be mostly evenings so it might have to wait until the youngest are a couple of years older unfortunately. But then it may never happen at all if I qualify as a trained drone pilot next year and set up doing commercial aerial photography. Sooooooo many things I want to do.just out of curiousity @wmrcomputers what happened to the wedding business that you were setting up....are you still going ahead with that?

You may all think "Why?"... but I'm not a fool. The computer business is getting quieter all of the time and in another 12 to 18 months you'll pick up a brand new full sized laptop for £99 - it's slowly becoming yet another 'bin it and buy new' industry in my opinion. I'm trying to plan ahead enough to have another trade to fall back on rather than finding myself mid 40's and jobless. I'd rather have two or three part time businesses than just the one (unfortunately not fail proof) full time one.
There was a feature on the One Show the other night on Social Bite. A sandwich shop and cafe in Scotland that donated all profits to good causes and hired previously homeless people as staff to help them get back on their feet etc.
I thought it was a fantastic idea and a great way for people to donate to charity while receiving services they want/need
If you aren't interested in turning a profit with your new shop, how about something like this?
Tiggy's in the Market is as close as you'll get
That's a brilliant idea! Fillings of bacon n cheese mmmmmmmmmmmm
Extremely naughty, but also extremely nice! With a knob of butter on the cheese before you put the bacon on and roll it up. O nom nom nom nom nom
I used to be sent to the corner shop by my grans to buy 'Hot oatcakes' (Or 'O' cakes as I was told to get, but thought she was saying 'old' cakes ) straight off the griddle thingy. The one's in the packets aren't a touch on them , but I still buy a packet or two each week and have them buttered and filled with bacon and cheese . As Glam says... nom nom nom nom nomI love working round the Clay head area them's real oat cakes and bacon n cheese filling goes down a treat
I enjoy my food, I admit to being a large bird. I start a diet and give up after a couple of days. I know a little bit of what you fancy does you good. But I fancy family sized bars of Galaxy, oatcakes dripping in butter n cheese, bacon and egg buttys. Life is too short to worry about the last calorie that went down my bone shute!
Seconded! xWMR - Open a shop selling filled oatcakes, and a nice big mug of tea and I'll be a regular customer
If you could make a sound financial case for that and opened such a shop, you'd get my custom.WMR - Open a shop selling filled oatcakes, and a nice big mug of tea and I'll be a regular customer
