Felt like whacking my phone across the bar quite a few times during my holiday when I was too thick to connect to their free wi-fi . OK the times it automatically connected to the correct one. Often kept connecting to a stronger signal from elsewhere, which I hadn't got a password for , and I just couldn't get rid .Had to sit on pins , after asking the young bar PRs for help, watching them suddenly chasing potential customers up the street with my phone in their hands.

Thanks staffordjas. I have, unbeknownst to husband, bought a 3 rd phone, I'm hoping out of the three, I might work out one of them!!! Sshh, not a word. I'm sure he won't know which is the annoying bugger of a phone he bought me for my birthday and which is the second hand phone I've just bought from a friend....

Just read the 'Host Families' thread...thinking £££..sons room is empty whilst he's at uni .Then got to thinking , could I get hubby to stop wandering around the house in is underpants ? Would they like my cooking? Could they put up with the house shaking with hubbys snoring ? How could I keep them entertained all their stay? .. Maybe not such a good idea after all.
And now wondering how on earth our Japanese guest is going to survive her stay with us in January:hmm: Already got her worried that she can't understand english after her not deciphering hubbys accent (she's got no hope, I'm still struggling after 33 years married to him!), and I shall have a job to keep my 'speaking like the queen' up (as son calls it :roll: )

Decided the diet I started this morning now starts again tomorrow. Signing off now to enjoy a few ciders :pint:

Walked to town and back and got a bit carried away in Icelands half price freezer isle. Now waiting for the delivery bloke to bring all the piles of bargain buys that I'm hoping I can squash in the freezer . Might be having lots of extra meals these next couple of days if it doesn't fit !

And whilst walking past the roadworks at Weeping Cross islands I saw a sign a few yards past the lights...'Red light cameras in action'.

Between them and asda's dumping of lots of summer brands our fridge and freezer are now crammed with meats :D
