Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

Yesterday, I was approaching the eastbound set of traffic lights at Junction 14, intending to go along Eccleshall Road - the lights had been red for a good while, so I had slowed down, hoping to hit them as they changed - a white Punto had a driver with rather different ideas, he undertook me and sailed straight through the still red lights, completely oblivious to the fully-loaded car transporter legitimately entering the roundabout from the southbound slip-road.

They must have passed within a yard of each other.

I suspect the Punto driver was never even aware of the near-miss, although the transporter driver certainly was...

Coming southbound on the A34 at the southern roundabout in Stone, an ambulance was approaching northbound, signalling to turn right. I made it clear that I would not be exercising my right of way until he had passed through. The Network Rail van behind me lost patience very quickly and overtook me to pull out in front of the ambulance - blue lights, siren and indicator - there's not much else you can do.

The ambulance driver did seem to be expecting it, I have to say - I suppose it happens all the time.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I have found Network Rail to have some of the rudest and ignorant drivers around Stafford. Second only to the Aston lot.

Sunday night I saw a car come out of the Queens retail park and stick their nose in the gap I'd left in front. Thought they'd gone in at a funny angle..... They didn't wait for the qeueing traffic to start moving enable them to turn right down Silkmore lane.... Up the kerb and over grass on the island :o

Blue Focus EN51??? parked outside West Way Spar last night. Did you really have to wait until I'd indicated then pulled out and was level with you to floor it away from your parking spot? I know you had things on your mind, as you didn't remember to turn your lights on until you passed Somerset Road. Oh, and pissing water out of your exhaust means you Head Gasket has gone. Best to scrap it now and save your money.

Bit different this, a Blonde woman, riding an electric bike on the 3' wide foot path,
phone to her ear, fag in her right hand resting on the handle bar, doing about 20
mph, 1' away from garden gates and side entries on Coton fields, I guess she will
be really annoyed if some one gets knocked down. I hope she has insurance, she's going to need it!

All the people who didn't have their lights turned on this morning in the fog.
I was about to say this, driving through Derrington in thick fog and people had either their side lights on or none at all. Literally saw nobody until they were a metre away :crossarms:

Thanks to the lovely 'lady' in the Vauxhall Adam who beeped and mouthed off at me because I was in the correct lane at the lights by the Toyota garage late this afternoon.

I'd have got angry but your horn sounded so weedy and your car looked so pathetic that it just made me laugh my head off

Well Done to the 'health-care professional' that just proved that you can enter the Junction 14 roundabout from the link road at a full 60 mph, as long as you use the entire width of the road and rely on the two cars coming out of Eccleshall Road legitimately to avoid the collision - that she would, no doubt, have regarded as 'their fault'.

Drumming up business? Or just unable to cope with numbers over 30?

Nearly 10 years ago I saw two mobility scooter have a head on collision on a footpath in Bushbury, Wolvo. I know it shouldn't be funny but I nearly wet myself laughing. Even I could see the pavement wasn't wide enough so not sure if one had poor eye sight or they where waiting to see which one would chicken out first and stop. I remember it every time I watch Off Their Rockers. Bless them it so made my day.

Driving to work this morning (06.30) had some dicksplash in a white VW van, reg no F17 PAB up my arse from EoO to the Falklands roundabout, where the knobjockey passed myself and another car to go up past the prison. He must've been so late for work, cos he didn't have time to stop for the red light that was waiting as we headed along the road.
