Well, I had half of a £2 hot pork bap tonight, and it was quite sufficient for me and the itinerant dog that was passing by on the off-chance..

I don't know why I've never visited this pub id like to think it's because it's one of those place unless you live near by you forget it's there, but as I was brought up around there I can't think of any reason why I've never been.

Oh, I thought you were barred. :cops:

You just reminded me of a time when I did get barred from a pub, walked into the bar and was told I was barred by the new landlord who'd taken over whilst I'd been on holiday, not giving me the chance to ask why as he was quite shouty, I left only to bump into another local a few days later who told me, the landlord thought I was someone else and I wasn't barred I never did go back in and he didn't last six months in the business.

Odd that 'barred' and 'disbarred' mean essentially the same thing.

Nowadays I wonder if they just refuse to serve you rather than shout your barred or a Peggy Mitchell style get outta my pub! The way pubs are today I wouldn't be surprised if they were outside throwing people in rather than kicking them out, I don't think they're as busy throughout the whole week as they once were.

I've never been to this pub, which is very strange because I walk past it most Saturdays and it serves decent beer. I will make an effort to go here.
