Hello, I live in Stafford and I create personalised hand-drawn illustrations of homes and buildings, from all eras.

I can draw your home, a birthday party venue, or a wedding venue, your holiday home, somewhere you had a great night out, the building your company is in, the list is almost endless.

Please take a look at my website homesandlines.co.uk, aswell as my updates on my Twitter account @homesandlines and I'm on FaceBook too, here you'll see the type of work I produce.

I'll start updating here on Stafford forum as much as possible, also!

I'm in the very early stages of my new venture, so please bare with me, though I'm already looking forward to anyone contacting me with an idea of what they may want me to draw.

Here's my most recent commision, a home in Erdington.

The drawing mounted, framed and sent out first class signed, cost £45.

In the mean time, here's a lovely Stafford building I drew recently, that I'm currently using as my profile picture, anyone know which building it is?

This is a really nice idea, they would make great pictures for businesses to use on Facebook as cover photos. Advertising wise you could reach out to some of the higher end estate agents in the area, they often include (small) gifts to home owners on purchase/sale, it seems plausible that they might be willing to commission one of your works as a gift for each of their sales, and maybe keep copies of the nicest properties they've sold in their offices. Leafletting houses that have recently been put up for sale could work too, so that homeowners preparing to move can take a memory of their old property with them when they move. Property developers might also be interested, the entrance and hallways of the building I live in (which was converted) contains pictures and artifacts from the buildings previous life, a couple of your pieces of the building in its previous life from different positions might appeal to future developers.

Gramaisc knows everything about Stafford, he's your inevitable winner :D

Thank you for the time spent giving the advice Citricsquid.

Hi,
This isn't quite the competition yet, but more a test on your knowledge of the whereabouts of some more of Stafford's buildings, so I can find out how easy or difficult I need to go for the real competition, where there's a prize involved.

Can anyone tell me where this is?

this is totes adorbs, i quite fancy the idea of having little framed drawings of all the houses i've lived in, seeing how things have changed as time goes by but maintaining the same artistic style :)

Hello db, ha, totes adorbs, thank you.

If you ever want to go ahead and have me draw one (or all) of your many homes, then you can message me on here, or any of the other social media sites that I'm on, or message me through my website homesandlines.co.uk
We could start with one, to see if it's the type of thing you're after and then perhaps go from there.

I hope this isn't sounding too much of a sales pitch, sorry.

What would you need to draw one? Streetview doesn't really show my house well, so would you need some pictures?

Could you draw something that wasn't there? There might be a call for that sort of thing from architects planning extensions, etc.

Are there any high end agents in Stafford ? I've had gifts from Knight Frank and Savills in the past.
