Was told Vinnys bar, Ramada Plaza but looks like now Holiday Inn??

Years ago would have roughed it and slept in the car, but....looks like taxi from home is the best option. Just thought it would be nice to roll straight into bed and be served a nice breakfast in the morning (but from reviews it's not up to much, and after a skinful could I have faced it anyway? :D )

Just had to switch the laptop on to finish the c0cked up post I tried doing on my phone :ohno:, so now definite.....it's phone straight into the safe when we arrive on holiday.
Will be disappearing off the scene for a while folks so, @Gramaisc 'Happy Birthday :toot: for the 16th ' (and to anyone else celebrating birthdays in my absence :) )

I started this morning by getting a takeway breakfast from a well known fast food outlet and I was amazed to see how busy it was so early in the morning. Then I went to the garden centre and got a new rose bush (see if I can kill this one as well) and then into Birmingham for lunch.

What about The Roman Way? I went to wedding there a few years ago and it looks ok.

I ♥ cryptic crosswords
Manchester United have spent more on players in the last two years than Leicester City have in their 132 year history

I used to know a guy who would follow Manchester United all over the world. My friend worked with him and she used to think it was ridiculous because sometimes he would get stuck in some airport and then wouldn't turn up for work the next day. She really liked him but I couldn't stand him because of the way he treated my other half.

The Holiday Inn is in Bridgetown.
We've never classed that as Bridgetown lol In the old days it would have been ''On the A5 by Churchbridge'' and these days it would be ''On the Orbital''
There is a Roman Villa near the Roman Way Hotel I believe. It was covered over though to preserve it.

I watched Arthur and George the other day. It was ok but I spent most of it shouting at the screen about how inaccurate it was! The most ridiculous portrayal of Great Wyrley I've seen.

How many other portrayals of Great Wyrley have you seen?

Taking the tiny kitten to the vets today, such fun!
Hope tiny kitten is ok @littleme (and well behaved for both you and the vet!)

Just done a late night drive down to Worcester to take son his passport which he needs while we are away. Planned to fill the car back up at Rickerscote garage on the way home ready for our drive up to Manchester Airport.....bloody closed. Fenced off, no pumps in sight, just diggers etc .

Right, really am disappearing now ... :bananafunk:
