That's what's odd about it.

Both the new owners have business experience and therefore one would presume that they had done their homework and knew what they were getting into.

There is more to this than meets the eye.

I feel very sorry for those that have paid deposits on functions. It's bad enough losing the money but trying to find another venue at short notice must be very stressful.

Revolution is still a novelty
It would only take a month of poor takings for someone to know it was time to cut their loses
Maybe they actually paid their staff and suppliers .

I wish I could get a deal like that. Rent a house or a shop and then walk away. I thought you had to sign a lease.

No reputable business should be doing one after 1 month of competition. Utter codswallop., unless those running an establishment are cowboys from the off.

if that is the case then it applies to the swan, yard, wethers and casa etc. Novelty wears thin then it plateaus in most cases.
