For Sale Ford Puma

It is with reluctance that I am selling Percy the Perverted Puma.
I put a deposit on a Ford Focus 1.6 TDi estate Zetec (whatever a zetec is) yesterday, so Percy has to go.
He isn't in brilliant nick, seriously battered n bruised. But he may do someone for a first time car.
No chance of me putting photos up here, I'm not that good. (Unless 1 of my very nice Facebook friends can do it) ;)
They are available on Facebook if anyone wants a nosey.
I'm asking £400 or for someone to just make me an offer.

When does the MOT run out?

Thinking of a cousin who'll *hopefully* pass soon!
MOT runs out in October.
There are a few faults, as you can imagine.
The drivers window refuses to open, hasn't been the same since a company on Astonfields got their hands on the electrics. The exhaust farts like a good 'un, there is a hole in it. And the drivers seat doesn't adjust, but I do have the cable for this and it will be supplied to whoever buys Percy off me xx

If you can't sell it find a friendly farmer with a barn, park it up and throw a tarp over it. Probably be worth a lot more in 5/10yrs. This original XR2 went for £6k this year.

There's an Mk1 XR2 up for sale for £30k at the moment!

Used to get to drive my then girlfriend's regularly back in the mid 80s, when I had a R5 GTT and it was an utter shed. Fords have come a long, long way since then.

XR2's and 5 turbo's, don't seem like five min since them days. Bugger, I am getting old. :teef: I ran a mk1 5 turbo, one of the first in the country, bought from Hamsteads in Walsall. Much better than XR2 but not a common sight at the time.

The mid-engined one?

I loved the GTT, in fact it was the first of a few Renault turbos I had. Next came an 11 Turbo scrabblewagon, followed by a 21 and finally a tweaked Safrane Bi-Turbo which was absolutely fantastic for the time. That thing demolished continents.

No, mine was the standard hot hatch. It was my only Renault, ran it for two yrs and 50,000 mls. It threw a fan belt and destroyed a clutch, which was probably my fault but I was sorry to see it go. Replaced with a 309 GTi 1.9 from Stafford.
