Best of luck with that...
Incompetent enough to end up with a much smaller leisure centre shoehorned on to a space that doesn't have enough parking so that patrons park on a nearby supermarket car park. Are local people too incompetent then?
I can't believe i just said that ....in a Leave voting Conservative constituency....

I don't know why you're taking that tone with me, it wasn't my idea...Best of luck with that...

Private enterprise is taking over ? So we can look forward to the usual hike in prices that's inversely proportional to the quality of service offered.
Strictly speaking it will be a Charitable Trust, so should be non-profit-making.Private enterprise is taking over ?
As I have said before, organisations with the word "Trust" in their title may not always engender trust in the long run.Strictly speaking it will be a Charitable Trust, so should be non-profit-making.
How this will affect prices/service provision very much remains to be seen...
'Profit' may be interpreted in many ways.
For what shall it profit a man who is the Managing Director of a large Charitable Trust, if he shall gain the whole Leisure & Culture portfolio of Stafford Borough Council, and lose his own soul?
Probably quite a lot in the interim.
'Freedom' as per ^above.hi,
does anyone know who is taking over stafford leisure centre yet, and who is going to be running stone leisure centre?
'Freedom' as per ^above.
Aka Wealden Leisure Ltd.
Presumably because they are so good they named themselves twice.
