This reminds me seeing comedian(s) in the basment of Reynolds (i forget what it was called then a few years back, whatever it was when it had a rebrand, shortly after the strip joint, i think, your honour!) on the set was Johnny Sorrow (outstanding!!) and some other fella who i still see about town, and on the odd occasion in The Market Vaults, anyone know the chap i'm talking about?I saw a bloke called Steve Best in the Baptist Church at Rising Brook about five years ago. Possibly the funniest that I've ever seen. There were people who would have left for the sake of their health, if they could have trusted their legs to carry them. Visual/verbal comedy of the very highest order.
I've remembered (all by myself!), i think it's Rob Halden. This reminds me seeing comedian(s) in the basment of Reynolds (i forget what it was called then a few years back, whatever it was when it had a rebrand, shortly after the strip joint, i think, your honour!) on the set was Johnny Sorrow (outstanding!!) and some other fella who i still see about town, and on the odd occasion in The Market Vaults, anyone know the chap i'm talking about?
Either way it was a good night and the guy who's name escapes me, was very funny.
He had a general dead pan demeanor about him.
I have no idea why i said that.Rob Halden is much better than he thinks he is.
Me too, for the first time.Off to the Edinburgh Fringe in August where we hope to see loads of the new comedians,
