There was a bit of a crisis when Worston Mill first applied for a licence. Was there a Great Bridgeford war then?
God knows, but they've gone into partnership with those that run/ran County and Stoke. Up to now, we/they haven't done too bad. Had a pretty good reputation, is this going to drag St.Georges down or are they/we going to raise the standards of the County/ Stoke?

It's all about perception isn't it. I had a health issue recently and from diagnosis to procedure was just 9 days, it was done at County as a day patient, I was contacted and provided all the info I needed prior to my appointment, my appt was on time, I was dealt with in a friendly and respectful manner, the procedure was a done well, I was provided more after care bumph, and I will hopefully not need to be seen again. in my limited experience the alliance between County and Stoke has provided a great patient experience .
It's actually all about the fear of being taken over
So you take over the rival yourself
And whilst the people sleep one third of the budget seeps out of the NHS and into the pockets of shareholders . American stylee
A successful hospital taking over an underperforming one is not an issue for me, I'm not hung up on who runs Staffords hospital so long as it's stays in the NHS. Not sure this is the place to discuss the Conservative missions to decimate the NHS and line the pockets of their party donors really!
Let's hope not!Is that road Improvement ever going to happen?

Wouldn't that ipso facto be very much an 'advertent' feature rather that an 'in' so one?
