Had a blood test today, hardly felt a thing during but now my arm really aches!

EDIT: I also woke up with a sore left eye, which has remained blurred all day. Oddly I can see better without my glasses than with now?!?!?! Through the left eye anyway.

Sitting in an almost empty Wildwood pub, with staff standing around waiting for customers to serve.

Was told by a guy who comes in here, whilst waiting for our baggage in Manchester airport after being diverted last weekend, that a petition is going around to oust the management.

Never ever known it like this under previous managers....come back Ivan!

That'll be cider lag.

Good to see you'd recovered enough to make it to the pub anyway :)

Enjoying a drop of red.
Arrived back from Le Mans early afternoon. In the week or so we were in France we didn't get cut up the once pootling around in the car or get deliberately blocked on the Autoroute in the RV by middle lane hoggers.

Within five minutes of disembarking in Dover the drive back was hell on earth. I bloody hate driving in this country sometimes. Why deliberately drive like an arse when EVERYONE could get where they're going some much quicker and without so much stress with just a modicum of consideration, courtesy and common sense?

I just don't get it :ohno:

I drove a cack-handed van all the way from Prague to the Tunnel without the slightest unpleasantness, some of it in very heavy traffic.

I was cut up before I got out of the car-park in Folkstone.

I believe that a lot of people drive like an arse because it is the only time in their sad little lives that they are actually in charge of something.

I snapped (was very rude) to my boss as he was giving me unrealistic deadlines and huge amounts of work to do.
He responded by (rather than being an adult and manager) going above me and speaking to his boss.
Turns out she agrees with me - he is a dick that has given me too much to do.
So everything he asked me to do - he now has to do himself!
Ah sweet irony!

I drank wine to celebrate!

Thanks to the puppies I saw the dawn today. Gave thanks, but had a chuckle at the same time thinking of those in their dressing gowns at Stonehenge.

Solstice Greetings everyone! May your hearts be filled with the warmth of the sunshine.

Been written off work for 2 weeks, possibly a coincidence but last night is the first proper nights sleep I've had in just over a month.
