My thoughts too...Tbh, I think it was in particular bad spirit for the old owners to kick off, they moved on to other things, so shouldn't get involved imo .

I really didn’t kick off. I protected our reputation and brand. I simply made a statement to clarify the change of operator. I wish the new guy the best of luck. It’s a hard game, everyone needs it.Tbh, I think it was in particular bad spirit for the old owners to kick off, they moved on to other things, so shouldn't get involved imo .

They are using the same burgers from the same supplier, so technicly they're back...I dunno, I saw the sign saying the burgers were back but they aren't. It's not the same food, the menu has many similarities but even the most familiar looking items are very different. Saying they are back implies the same items are available again, which isn't true.
Say your local Indian is famous for its chicken tikka. The chef leaves, someone new comes in and cooks differently, is the famous chicken tikka back?
& how are you 'protecting your brand' if you're 'out of the burger business' ?Yes, protecting your brand?? by throwing the new guy under a bus. Very strange.
It may come down to whether you think a 'burger' is the entire assembly including the horizontally sliced bun arrangement, plus the salad and diary layer options, or merely the minced 'patty' that forms the central, meat-based layer of the assembly. They are using the same burgers from the same supplier, so technicly they're back...

Enjoy the new burgers guys. As the Rwandan proverb offers - ‘The truth passes through the fire but shall not burn.’Yes, protecting your brand?? by throwing the new guy under a bus. Very strange.
I'd put this in that vegan thread but here you go, just gotta speak to the team and hey presto!looks like the loaded fries / nachos could be the only vegan "friendly" items on the menu?
