If you look at the council planning site for this there has been a discussion on the parking situation. Also the agent needs to go back to the council as the environment agency side of the council objected to it given its location....Just wondering why they need a car park, unless they're all disabled spaces.
People have had cars locked in there overnight a few times.Isn't it. I didn't know. I really should get out more.
Thanks. I did click the link but couldn't get it to work (and then rather gave-up).Ex

I hope they're happy with responses regarding possible flooding. If there's one thing I associate with that car park from having used back in the 1980s (when it was free), it was the occasional flooding. And it's got worse in recent years before this new car park was built. Still, it ain't my problem.
The 'main' car park may not be available on a 24 hour basis.
They may need a few spaces outside the gate when it's locked.
Does anyone know what's happening the the ex WR Davies Nissan showroom on the way to the M6 J13?
There's a new fascia going up and the colour scheme looks like an F1 AutoCentre but it would be a of place for one of those...
Yes I noticed, never got chance to post.... Will be interesting to see how they do.Sign on the front now says something like "Harvey's Autos"

3 times - twice for a month and once for 8 weeks.Flooding is no longer an issue on this car park, the last winter is proof of that.
a car park that flooded 3 times a year simply due to poor maintenance and design. Let alone the flooding never reached the area of this proposal.
Didn't the area by the proposed McDonald's flood in 2000 and again in 2007. Has the land at the proposed mc donalds been raised since?Flooding is no longer an issue on this car park, the last winter is proof of that.

Is it really a 4 hour limit? I was told a while back it was only 2 hours. I'll have to look at the signs next time I'm there.Or it may have a 4 hour limit and this would be too time limited to stuff your mega whopper triple sized family bucket humongous shite king size burger with fries down ya fat face
This is what the sign looked like in August last year.Is it really a 4 hour limit? I was told a while back it was only 2 hours. I'll have to look at the signs next time I'm there.

Let's hope they keep the maintenance up to spec. If there was ever a winter when it wasn't going to flood, last year was probably it.
I well remember the flood of 2000. It was a Tuesday and we had to cancel 5-a-side at Riverside. A colleague had to give my boss a piggy-back to her landrover on the County Council car park.
